Duration: 14 days and 13 nights.
Tour season: July 1st – September 30th.
The route passes through the most active volcanic zone of Kamchatka among the highest active volcanoes of Europe and Asia. You have a chance to observe the result of the present-day existence of the Earth planet: new-born volcanoes, vast territories covered with deep ashy-lava, "Moon landscapes", fanciful sculptures of frozen lava, wonderful flowers, landscapes of fantastic colors.

Program

Day 1. Leaving for the village of Kozyrevsk. Some stops for rest and lunch on the way. Overnight in tents.
Day 2. Breakfast. Transfer to the "Lunakhodchikov" base camp. Setting the camp. Lunch. Accommodation. Dinner. Overnight in tents or huts.
Day 3. Breakfast. Radial trip to the nearest cones as training for ascent of the volcano Tolbachik. Tent camp.
Day 4. Breakfast. Ascent of the volcano Plosky Tolbachik. Return to the camp. Dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 5. Breakfast. Radial trip to the cones of the Northern Tolbachik eruption site. Return to the camp. Dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 6. Breakfast. Free day. Preparing to continue moving. Overnight in tents.
Day 7. Breakfast. Trekking over the pass Tolud. Base camp at the foot of Zimina volcano. Overnight in tents.
Day 8. Breakfast. Trekking over the Tolbachinsky pass to the seismological station "Plotina". Sightseeing the volcanic cones Mars and Jupiter. Dinner. Tent camp.
Day 9. Reserve day in case of bed weather.
Day 10. Radial trip not far from Bezymyanny volcano.
Day 11. Breakfast. Hiking to Barany stream and watching Polenytsa Mountain, a canyon in the Studyonaya river. Dinner. Accommodation in tents.
Day 12. Breakfast. Hiking to Kopyto mountain area. At 1 p.m. taking an off-road car. Truck to the settlement of Esso – the national center of Kamchatka’s indigenous population – the Evens. Accommodation in tents.
Day 13. Relax day in Esso. Visiting museums. Watching the Even’s culture. Thermal swimming pool bathe.
Day 14. Drive back to Petropavlovsk.
